Chloe Mayne
Chloe Mayne is a poet and scholar whose work has been published in places like Overland, Cordite, Australian Poetry and Best of Australian Poems. She was a finalist in the 2024 Judith Wright Poetry Prize and is a current recipient of the Marten Bequest for poetry. Descended from the Trawlwoolway people of the island's north-east, as well as scores of convicts aboard the first fleets, her poetry is ecologically and sensorially lush while confronting questions of belonging, colonial grief and Tasmanian identity.
