Katherine Johnson
Katherine Johnson’s new novel, Every Wild Soul, is the inaugural winner of The Australian Fiction Prize. Her previous novels are Paris Savages, Matryoshka, The Better Son and Pescador’s Wake. Paris Savages was shortlisted in the ABIA awards. The UK edition was named The Times Historical Fiction Book of the Month. The Better Son was longlisted in the Indie Book Awards and won Tasmanian Literary Awards. Katherine trained in science and journalism, and holds a creative writing PhD.
