David Owen
David Owen is the author of 20 works of fiction and nonfiction including the Pufferfish detective series set in Tasmania. The Devil Takers, a substantial rewrite of an earlier Pufferfish novel, will feature during the festival. The 10th and final in the series, Where is Knud Bruun? is scheduled to be launched later this year in Hobart. David is a former editor of Island amgazine and former Official Secretary to three Tasmanian Governors.
